*Welcome to the Minot State University Scholarship opportunities website! The 2026-27 scholarship application will open on December 1, 2025 with a deadline of February 15, 2026.

Through the efforts of the Minot State University Foundation and the generosity of alumni and friends, Minot State University awards numerous scholarships each academic year. Below you will find a listing of Minot State scholarships available to admitted students with brief information about the scholarship qualifications.

Some Minot State Scholarships available for the 2026-27 school year require a separate application form from the one available here. Please click here to visit the Minot State Additional Scholarship Information page to locate applications for these scholarships.

To get started on the application process:
• Click the red “SIGN IN” on the upper right corner of this page and use your NDUS user ID and password to login.
• Complete the General Application AND any supplemental applications presented.
• You will automatically be matched with scholarship opportunities for which you meet the criteria, based on your applications and your Minot State student record. The system may also provide additional “recommended” scholarships that invite you to complete additional questions, but the majority of our scholarships only require that you submit the General Application.
• Consider all “Recommended” Scholarships presented after you submit the General Application (if Recommended Scholarships appear for you). Complete the additional questions to apply for Recommended Scholarships too.
• If you are selected for a scholarship, you will be notified by postal mail or email beginning in late spring 2026.

All eligible students are also encouraged to complete the 2026-27 FAFSA at fafsa.gov to be considered for federal student aid programs and for need-based Minot State scholarships.
