Leadership Scholars Program Scholarship

The Leadership Scholars Program is a unique opportunity at Minot State University, which extends a $2,500 scholarship to first-time students in recognition of their leadership, citizenship, and successful involvement in their high schools or communities.

Eligibility
Applicants must meet all of the following to be eligible for the Leadership Scholars Program:

• First-year, full-time status entering Minot State University in the Fall semester
• Submission of all required materials including completed application and essay
• Proven record of participation and leadership in high school and/or the community
• Admission to Minot State University and confirmed full-time enrollment

Requirements
Participants in the program will be required to live ON CAMPUS in the Leadership Living Learning Community (2nd floor of Lura Manor), complete LEAD 101 in the Fall 2024 semester, and participate in scheduled program workshops and activities.

Award Amount
Award recipients will receive a scholarship in the amount of $1,250 in their first semester. Leadership scholars must maintain a level of active participation in all program activities in order to continue to participate in the program and receive the scholarship for the second semester.
