VICEROY Cyber Support Scholarship

The VICEROY Cybersecurity Support Scholarship is designed to bolster the number of graduates equipped with job-ready Cybersecurity skills as well as address the workforce demands of the Armed Services, Department of Defense, and their Defense Industrial Base partners. This scholarship aims to support students who demonstrate a keen interest in pursuing a career in cybersecurity, with a specific focus on those who aspire to work within these critical sectors. Applicants must be eligible, though will not be required, to apply for a standard security clearance. They must also be prepared to articulate their passion for cybersecurity and their potential career aspirations with these organizations, highlighting their commitment to contributing to national security and defense through their future work.

Eligible Majors: Cybersecurity and Operations, Management Information Systems, Computer Science
Students must be enrolled in at least one course towards the completion of their major each semester to remain eligible.

  1. Security Clearance Eligibility:
    • To be eligible for the VICEROY Cybersecurity Support Scholarship, applicants must meet the criteria necessary to successfully obtain a security clearance in the United States. This includes being a U.S. citizen, having a favorable credit history, no history of drug abuse, no criminal record, and demonstrating strong moral character and personal integrity. Additionally, applicants must be able to pass a thorough background check and, in some cases, a polygraph examination. Are you able to obtain a security clearance under these criteria?
